Many Gateway U students are eligible for federal financial aid. This includes the Pell Grant — a scholarship from the government that you don’t have to pay back — and subsidized government loans. You can estimate your federal aid eligibility on the government’s website here.
During your application to SNHU, we’ll help you through the process of applying for federal financial aid. For students who need extra support, we’ll connect you with an independent, expert financial aid advisor through our partnership with uAspire.
The Brick by Brick grant is awarded to Gateway U students who have demonstrated financial need or hardships.

The 2022 I AM NEWARK scholarship was curated by Hire Newark and Project WOW. This scholarship is exclusively for students pursuing a degree with GatewayU/SNHU in their second or third term, academically deemed on track for graduation, a Newark NJ resident, and identifies as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Students enrolled in SNHU’s programs in partnership with Gateway U can sign up for an interest-free, monthly payment plan.
Requires a $25 service fee per term.
Many employers — including Gateway U partners — will contribute to their employees’ college tuition. A Gateway U advisor can help you reach out to your employer to ask about tuition support resources.
